Hours of Work: Up to 38 hours per week
Reports To: Centre Director
General Accountability:
To be responsible for the continual development children/parents’ program, supervision of children, maintenance and to ensure a high-quality service is provided to suit the needs of the immediate community.
Essential
- Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent.
- NESA Accreditation
- Sound understanding of the NSW Department of Education and Communities, Children’s Services National Regulation and National Law and Assessment and Rating process ACEQCA.
- Working knowledge of the NSW EYLF Curriculum
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnerships with families.
- Demonstrated professional level of written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate and WWCC.
Position: Early Childhood Educator – Diploma
