MindChamps Early Learning & PreSchool @ Hurstville is an architecturally designed, two-storey learning and child care centre which comes with state-of-the-art facilities. We are open from 7:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and cater for 65 children.
The ground level houses two classrooms: Confidence (6 weeks-2 years) and Creativity (2 years-2.5 years). On the second level, there are two large classrooms: Grateful (2 years-3.5 years) and Life-Long Learners (3 years-5 years). Also located on the second level of the Hurstville child care centre is a large natural outdoor playground that connects to the children’s indoor learning environments.
All meals for the children are nutritious and delicious, prepared on site by our expert cook. These include breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Our carefully designed curriculum is based on internationally validated research and aligns with the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Our team of dedicated teachers are passionate about creating enriching experiences for children under their care and to empower them in both creativity and structured thinking. EARLY LEARNING & PRESCHOOL CURRICULUMThe S.M.I.L.E.S.™ Methodology
The S.M.I.L.E.S.™ Methodology is incorporated into our curriculum and all activities here at the MindChamps child care centre and PreSchool at Hurstville. By providing a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn, we encourage the development of valuable skills including Sensory, Motor, Intellectual, Linguistic, Emotional and Social skills.
We foster an early love for storytelling and reading with fun and interactive activities. Developed by early literacy experts, our programme introduces toddlers to basic literacy skills through a variety of captivating reading materials.
Your child will have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of quality literature, giving them the confidence to become a successful reader, writer and storyteller.
At MindChamps, we believe in encouraging children to be curious and inquisitive as asking questions will lead to enquiry explorations. Our educators will plan lessons based around the children’s interests, allowing them to explore new ideas and develop lifelong skills.
At our Hurstville child care centre, your child will be introduced to mathematical concepts through fun hands-on activities, giving your child a strong foundation in numeracy.
