School’s out for six weeks starting from 21 November 2015, and your champs are all set to take a breather from lessons and homework – at least for a while.

1. The Enormous Turnip

Follow the adventures of Eek, a tiny mouse whose dream is to be noticed by the people around him. On the other hand, Diggory the gardener hopes that he can win a prize for his vegetables one day – and he got his wish when a turnip starts to grow and grow and grow.
Find out which of the two friends is strong enough to pull the enormous turnip out of the ground in this colourful and interactive theatre production filled with cute characters, memorable songs and a clear moral message for everyone.

2. The Emperor’s New Clothes

How many times have your little Champs read the classic tale of “The Emperor’s New Clothes”?
Let them watch the characters of their favourite fable in action by taking them to this heart-warming musical which incorporates a hint of Singaporean taste. Find out what happens to the vain and pompous Emperor when two cheeky tailors decides to teach him a lesson by weaving a “special” ensemble for the National Dress Parade on the 50th anniversary of his reign.

3. Cinderella, A Fairly True Story

Follow the enthralling theatre production that tells the tale of Cinderella, a girl who meets her prince and true love through a missing glass slipper. With the help of a sceptical reporter who inspires Cinderella to take control of her own destiny, this classic fairy tale is given a contemporary twist complete with a colourful burst of music and spellbinding transformations that work to bring this classic tale to life.

4. SSO Christmas Concert 2015
Usher in the Christmas cheer at Victoria Hall together with the SSO, Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir and the Singapore Bible College Chorale. Under the guidance of Associate Conductor Jason Lai, you and your family will be treated to three magical musical performances filled with traditional Christmas Carols and well-known yuletide melodies.

5. The Amazing Toybox Concert 2015

If your little ones love singing and dancing to shows like Hi-5, then you’ve got to take them to The Amazing Toybox Concert and ring in the holiday season together as a family.
Abby Ant, Sheriff Bob and The Boogie Bug Dancers have been bringing high-energy, sing-and-dance performances to families in Singapore for the last 10 years, and they’re all set to celebrate this huge milestone with you.

7. Champion Values Program
Organised by MindChamps, this programme nurtures children to be respectful towards others and their ideas, while helping them to express themselves without fear. Emphasis will be placed on cultivating each child’s ability to see the beauty within others and embracing feedback as a seed for growth.
This two-day programme is designed with primary and secondary school students in mind.

8. Professor Snyder’s Thinking Cap Learning System
Another popular programme by MindChamps, this two-day workshop is specifically designed to develop age-appropriate learning strategies and techniques that can be applied directly to the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) Primary 1 and 2 curriculum.
Through this workshop, your K2 to P2 kids will learn about the Champion Mindset and how it will influence him/her in a positive manner. Your child will also gain confidence through self-awareness and creativity exercises while developing self-directed learning skills through creative problem solving and divergent thinking.

11. The Human Body Experience @ Science Centre

It’s been said that the best way to get a better grasp of how our body works is to dive right in!
Here’s your chance to do just that at the larger-than-life human body exhibition at the Science Centre. This life-sized journey takes you inside the human anatomy – through organs, muscles and systems – and lets you interact and play with the amazing functions of the body through lights, sounds and pneumatics.
Make your way to the Science Centre for the Human Body Experience before it packs up in mid-2016.

12. Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens By The Bay
The biggest, most magical yuletide fair in Singapore returns to Gardens By The Bay with more dazzling Italian light sculptures, a European-style festive market and a refreshing Christmas Toyland floral display in the Flower Dome. Get ready to step into Santa’s workshop, meet his trusty elves and learn more about topiary plants and conifers in the Garden Trail, which is part of the floral display.
There’ll also be a series of festive performances out on the Flower Field with an 11-metre-tall Christmas Pyramid as the backdrop. Make sure not to miss the storytelling sessions, mascot appearances and ventriloquist acts in and around the Flower Dome.
