Children studying in kindergartens in the east are blessed with lots of attractions in the vicinity. There is something for everyone after the little ones get picked up from preschool in Changi.
Relax in a cafe off the beaten track, cycle or play at the beach or even enjoy some water play at a nearby mall – the possibilities are endless!
Here are some suggested activities you can do with your kids after their day ends at preschool in Changi.
Changi Point Coastal Walk
Observe nature along a 2.2 km long boardwalk
Starting from Changi Creek in the east and ending at Changi Beach in the west, this 2.2 km trail covers different terrains and scenery over six sections – Creek Walk (280 m), Beach Walk (660 m), Sailing Point Walk (600 m), Cliff Walk (180 m), Kelong Walk (200 m) and Sunset Walk (120 m). It will take about 1.5 hours to 2 hours at a comfortable pace to walk to-and-fro.
Spot less commonly seen birds like Brahminy Kites, Black-naped Terns and Pacific Swallows, as well as natural flora adorning the pathways. The boardwalk is home to 10 Heritage Trees and other native species unique to Singapore.
Said to be one of the best places to view sunsets in Singapore, the Changi Point Coastal Walk is also a splendid way to unwind and calm down through the sights and sounds of nature after picking your child up from their kindergarten in the east side of Singapore.

There are two outdoor playgrounds with a nautical theme, and there’s even a raft with an oar for children to play pretend!

Playground at Changi City Point
Have some splashing and climbing fun to end the day after preschool in Changi
There is a playground located on the second level of Changi City Point with both wet and dry features. The wet area includes gentle fountains, swings and mini-pools for children where the little ones can expend all their excess energy before winding down for the day. If you don’t want the hassle of drying your children off after water play, there’s also a dry area with a treetop obstacle course and landscaped rooftop garden for exploration. The climbing equipment hones their hand-eye coordination, flexibility and strength.
Due to its convenient location in a mall, you can easily get food or groceries before heading home.
