In just a few weeks’ time, your child will finally take the step from preschool to Primary 1, marking the start of a new phase in his/her educational journey.
Not only will there be different routines and a whole new learning environment to get used to, but your child will also need to have a basic foundation in the various primary school subjects. We’re here to help you prepare your child for this important milestone.
Our Deputy Director-General of Education, Joseph Lim and Specialist Senior Trainer, Jeslyn Toh, will be sharing strategies for easing your child through this transition with a Champion Mindset in our Primary 1 Preparation Parent Seminar.

Joseph Lim

Joseph Lim

Joseph is overall in charge of curriculum planning and delivery for both our PreSchool and Enrichment divisions. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching, curriculum design and school leadership with the Ministry of Education (MOE). As a former Superintendent under MOE, he supervised the operations of 15 schools.
Joseph also spent 6 years as Principal of Maris Stella High School, overseeing both the Primary and Secondary sections.

Johanna Pahm
Assistant Director, Curriculum and Training

As Assistant Director of Curriculum and Training, Johanna plays a critical role in leading and developing the enrichment curriculum for MindChamps. She has over 20 years of teaching and counselling experience spanning from Preschool to Tertiary levels.
Prior to joining MindChamps, Johanna was active as a youth pastor, which gave her valuable experience in the shifting and empowering of mindsets.
